CASE STUDY 01 / MOVING
The site got hacked. I rebuilt it twice.
Andersen Moving & Storage, Stuart, Florida. A family moving operation on the Treasure Coast with a good reputation, a compromised website, and no systems behind it.
BEFORE
A good moving company with a broken front door.
Ryan Andersen has been running moves on the Treasure Coast since 2018. Licensed, insured, family operation, the kind of mover who wraps every piece because that is the job. The work was never the problem.
The website was. It had been hacked by attackers operating out of China, which is a thing that happens constantly to small business sites nobody is watching. A compromised site is not just embarrassing. It bleeds search visibility, it can get you flagged in the browser, and every day it stays broken is a day customers quietly bounce to somebody else.
We rebuilt it. Then we rebuilt it again, because getting it right mattered more than getting it done. Behind the website there was nothing else running. No structured search work, no review system, no automation, no follow-up. The phone rang when somebody happened to find him.
WHAT I BUILT
Everything, in order of what pays back fastest.
01
A website rebuilt twice, properly
New site, clean structure, a page for every service and every Treasure Coast market he actually works: Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach, Jupiter, Palm City, Palm Beach Gardens. Fast, secure, and built so search engines can tell exactly what he does and where he does it.
02
Daily Google Business Profile work
Categories, service areas, photos, posts, questions, and review responses handled as an ongoing channel instead of a listing that got set up once. For a service area business, this is the single highest-leverage surface there is.
03
A review system that runs itself
Automated review requests after completed moves, plus response handling on everything that comes in. He started with under 30 reviews and is at 82.
04
Response and follow-up automation
Missed call text-back and lead follow-up, so a customer calling three movers in the same ten minutes hears from Andersen first, and the quote that goes quiet gets a second touch instead of getting forgotten.
05
Search content built from zero
Ongoing organic work and a real social presence, both built around the Treasure Coast market rather than generic moving-industry filler. Worth being clear about the starting point: the rebuilt site had no search history at all, so every impression on this page was earned from nothing in under a year.
SERVICES RUNNING
RESULTS
What actually moved.
-
82
Reviews, up from under 30
Nearly tripled in about a year. Public and checkable. Count as of August 2026.
-
+160%
Monthly search impressions
Most recent quarter against the nine months before it, from a site that started with zero search history. Google Search Console, August 2026.
-
+35%
Monthly organic clicks
Same comparison. Peak moving season overlaps the recent quarter, so some of this is seasonal and I am not going to pretend otherwise.
-
$9,000
Single job closed
One job, closed through the system.
Straight with you: Read the search numbers in context. This was a brand new site with zero history, rebuilt from scratch after the hack, so it started at nothing and every point of visibility had to be earned from a standing start. The positions are still climbing and I am not publishing ranking claims until they are worth publishing. The search figures come from Ryan's own Google Search Console, dated August 2026. The review count is public and you can check it yourself right now.
THE POINT
Why this one matters to me.
I ran a moving company for a decade. I know exactly what Ryan's week looks like, what a bad review does to a small mover, and what happens to the margin when a truck runs late.
That is the difference between me and an agency that discovered movers as a niche. I am not learning the business on his dime. I already paid that tuition in Orlando.
