COMMAND 08
COMMAND The Whole System
All three phases, running together, managed by the guy who built them.
The individual services work. They work considerably better connected. Command is Spot, Strike, and Grip running as one system: found in search, answering before your competitor, and keeping the customers you already earned. One person accountable for all of it. Same system I run on my own business, which is where every piece of it got tested before anybody paid me for it.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Marketing in pieces leaks at every seam.
Here is how it usually goes. One company built the website. A second one handles the Google profile, sort of. There is a review app somebody set up two years ago that nobody has opened since. Follow-up is a mental note. Nobody owns the whole thing, so every gap between them is a place where money falls through.
You rank, the call comes in, nobody answers, and there is no text-back. That is a paid lead that produced nothing. Or the follow-up closes the job and nobody asks for a review, so the thing that would have generated the next three customers never happens.
A system fixes the seams. Search work feeds the profile. The profile feeds the calls. Text-back catches the calls. Follow-up closes them. Reviews feed the ranking that started the whole loop. Every piece makes the next one work better, and one person is responsible when it does not.
Five vendors and nobody accountable is how you pay for marketing and get none.
HOW IT WORKS
One system. One person accountable.
01
We find the leak first
Before anything gets built, we figure out where you are actually losing money. Sometimes it is visibility. Frequently it is response speed. Occasionally you have plenty of both and simply cannot take on more work, in which case I will tell you that you do not need me yet.
02
Strike goes in first
Missed call text-back and follow-up get installed before the search work, because they recover money you are already losing this week. Search takes months to compound. Answering the phone pays today, and it funds the patience the rest of it requires.
03
Spot gets built underneath
Website, Google Business Profile, and local SEO, in that order. This is the part that takes three to six months to fully pay off, which is exactly why it starts early and runs while the faster pieces are already producing.
04
Grip closes the loop
Review generation and rebooking turn each finished job into the next ranking signal and the next booking. This is the part that makes the system compound instead of just run, and it is the part almost everybody skips.
05
It gets managed, not delivered
Ongoing daily and weekly work, plus a monthly conversation about real numbers. Calls, booked jobs, review count, what moved and what did not. If something is not working I will say so, because the alternative is you paying me to protect my own report.
SYSTEM QUESTIONS
System questions, answered .
Stuff buyers ask before they book.
- Do I have to take the whole system?
- No. Plenty of clients start with one or two pieces, usually text-back and follow-up because they pay back fastest. The system is better together, but I would rather you start with what you can afford and add later than sign something you resent in month three.
- What does it cost?
- It depends on what is running and how big your operation is. Here is the honest filter. A service business can spend 5 to 10 percent of revenue on marketing comfortably. If two or three extra jobs a month would not cover a real retainer, you are not there yet and I will say so on the call rather than sell you anyway.
- Who actually does the work?
- Me. That is the tradeoff. You are not getting a 40 person agency and you are not getting a junior account manager who learned your industry from a template last Tuesday. You are getting one operator who has built three service businesses and does the work personally.
- What if it does not work?
- Then we look at the actual numbers and figure out why, and if I cannot fix it you should not keep paying me. I do not do pay-for-performance pricing, because it incentivizes the wrong behavior on both sides. I do retainers with a straight conversation every month about what the numbers are doing.
- How long before the whole system is running?
- Response and follow-up in the first week or two. Website and profile work over the first month or two. Search work compounds from there over three to six months. You will feel the early pieces almost immediately and the search side is the part that requires patience.
